A systemic constellation mini-series exploring the most primary of relationships: the one that came before all others. Two evenings to discover and heal our relationship with the Earth.

And yet many of us move through our days with the Earth functionally absent from our awareness. Even in conscious communities, we do not name her, include her, or remember her in the ways we could. We participate, even if non-consensually, in her destruction without fully reckoning with the fact that she is, in every systemic sense, our first mother and father - the one to whom we owe the most fundamental acknowledgement as the source of life.

For all of us, from all of our different backgrounds, the project of colonization played its part in separating ourselves from each other, our bodies from our minds, and our innate connection to the Earth. It has transformed land from relationship.to resource and extraction, replaced belonging to land with identification to nation-state. Whether your ancestors were those who colonized, those who were colonized, or both - the wound of severance impacts us all. It lives in our bodies as disconnection, rootlessness, and a grief we often cannot name.

In each workshop, everyone will receive

Framework
Foundational systemic principles including the four orders of Constellation work that govern all living systems (belonging, time, place, and exchange) applied directly to our relationship with the Earth.
Reflection
Guided inquiry into your personal and family system's relationship with the planet — tracing the threads of connection, rupture, and inheritance held in your lineage.
Micro-Constellation
A personal constellation exploring a dynamic within your own system as it relates to the Earth, using floor markers or representatives to reveal what moves in your field.
Group Constellation
Participation in a full group constellation with a focus client, chosen by the group on that evening. An opportunity to support each other as we receive, either as client, representative, or witness.

What Moves Through Us

Receiving Life, Restoring Exchange

The Earth gives continuously. Life flows from her in every direction — through the food we eat, the air we breathe, the ground we walk on, the rhythms of season and dark and light that govern our bodies whether we attend to them or not. She does not withhold.

And yet many of us cannot receive her. Something in us - some knot of ancestral grief, displacement, or rupture, stands between us and the life she offers constantly. The order of exchange is profoundly disrupted: we take, we consume, we destroy, but often we do not receive with consciousness, and we do not give back.

In this second evening, we bring constellation methodology to the question of exchange. We will trace what in our personal and ancestral systems blocks the flow — and we begin to open it. What would it mean to truly receive what the Earth gives? What could we offer in return?

Themes may include:

  • The orders of exchange, and how it has been disrupted between humans and Earth
  • Ancestral threads that block receiving: displacement, severed belonging, unresolved grief
  • Constellation work using floor markers and guided representation
  • Sentences of restoration: acknowledging, bowing, receiving, returning
  • What right relationship and renewed flow actually feels like in your body

She Who Came Before

Place, Time, and the Order of First Things

The systemic orders are precise: those who came before give; those who came later receive. The Earth was here before anything else. All life, all giving, all belonging on this planet has flowed from her. And she holds everyone and everything that has lived here - bones in the soil, in her waters.

In this first evening, we bring these two orders into direct contact with the Earth as a named member of our system. We explore what it means to come later — to be receivers of a giving so vast and so prior that we rarely perceive it as giving at all. We ask what happens in the system when the first one is excluded, unnamed, unacknowledged.

Through teaching, somatic inquiry, and constellation demonstration, you can expand your own felt relationship with the ground — the land that held your ancestors, the soil that holds you now — and practice the bow that restores what has been out of order.

Themes may include:

  • The orders of place and time, and how they apply to Earth as the first system member
  • What it means to “come later:” learning to receive, rather than take
  • The systemic cost of excluding those who came first
  • Somatic mapping of your personal relationship with land and ground
  • Constellation demonstration with Earth as named representative
